Alan Kenworthy

Alan Kenworthy, Ph.D., C.Psych.
Clinical Associate

Alan comes to us from Newfoundland where he worked as a psychologist for many years in the health system and then, for the last fourteen years, in private practice. His focus has been on violence and trauma, working with victims and perpetrators of abuse, individually and in groups. He taught in graduate programs at Memorial University, and has provided workshops and presentations on a variety of issues. His method in individual counselling is eclectic, integrating humanistic, holistic, social and cognitive-behavioural approaches. In couple counselling his method is based on Dr. John Gottman’s model of marital relationships.

Alan facilitates a Men and Healing Phase II group at our new West-End service location.

Alan can be reached at (613) 230-6179 ext. 411 or akenworthy@themensproject.ca
