Join Our Board
As a non-profit organization, The Men's Project is governed by a Board of Directors - volunteers from the community who share the mission and vision of the organization and are responsible for its well being. Our Board members may come from different walks of life, however, they all share in their commitment to the goals of the organization.
Generally speaking, Board members are responsible for five key areas of an organization:
- To establish the organization's mission, vision, and direction.
- To ensure the financial health of the organization.
- To ensure the organization has sufficient and appropriate human resources.
- To direct organizational operations.
- To ensure effective community relations.
As any non-profit organization, we need a strong Board of Directors in order that we can continue to "help men and their families build better lives". If you are interested in being involved in our Board or one of its many sub-committees, we welcome your interest.
