Partnerships
The Men's Project works with various partners in different capacities to help men and their families build better lives.
FUNDING PARTNERS:
We would like to thank the following for their support of our work:
In 1997, the "Y" provided the initial resources to allow The Men's Project to open its doors. The YMCA-YWCA continues to be a strong partner with TMP, and provides many "in-kind" resources to allow us to serve more men and their families.
Through the Victim Services Secretariat, the Ministry provides funding for our group counselling services for male survivors in Ottawa. The Ministry has funded The Men's Project since 1999.
Funding for this Project is provided by the Government of Ontario through the Ministry of the Attorney General. The views and opinions expressed in this web site do not necessarily reflect those of the Government of Ontario.
SERVICE DELIVERY PARTNERS:
It is our pleasure to offer services with the following community organizations:
CMHA Ottawa and TMP enjoy two collaborations: A therapeutic Men's program for CMHA clients (Concurrent Disorders Men's Group), and a joint community training initiative.
INTERNATIONAL PARTNERSHIPS:
The Men's Project is active in various Networks and Coalitions to develop, coordinate and support the provision of specialized victim's services to reduce the impact of sexual violence against boys, male youth and men. We are linked with organizations provincially, nationally and internationally in creating a peaceful and gender-just world.
