Wes worked as a high school teacher prior to completing his Masters in Education – Counselling at the University of Ottawa in 2006. He has worked as a Guidance Counsellor at the junior high and high school levels and currently works part-time with the Youth Services Bureau as a Youth/Crisis Worker. Wes’s areas of interest and experience include crisis work, identity formation, group work, motivation, goal setting, anxiety, and more recently, childhood trauma.

Wes presently facilitates the Men and Healing Group – Phase I and completes initial assessments for the Men and Healing Program and the Fathering Group Program. In addition, you may contact him to inquire about services at The Men’s Project or to schedule an assessment for one of our programs.
